Hythe Civic Society updates tourist maps!
Hythe Civic Society is delighted to announce the installation of two revised tourist information maps at Twiss Fort and Battery Point car parks. The original maps, installed in 2014, were positioned facing south, and years of exposure to strong sunlight and sea air had caused the vinyl surfaces to deteriorate significantly, making them increasingly difficult to read. Shepway Trees - Inviting comments and planting suggestions
HCS and other groups met recently to consider tree planting across all areas of the FHDC district. It's a multi-year project to demonstrate achievements and enhance the community environment across the district.
