According to Kent Online, on 7 February 2024, the diversion of Princes Parade to be diverted and run to the north of the site adjacent to the Royal Military Canal has been scrapped by the developers. Full details of the Kent Online scoop can be found here:
No formal application has yet been registered by Folkestone and Hythe District Council so there may be more changes yet to the overall proposal! The developers say that their scrapping of the road diversion was due to public reaction to their initial plans in November 2023. So public comments are important in planning matters.
