The malting process - 1947
Henry and William Mackeson, sons of a wine seller from Deal, bought Hythe Brewery in 1801, though records show it had been established since at least 1669 when it was owned by James Pashley.

Some of these early negatives have suffered a bit, from what is called 'vinegar syndrome' but still show enough to be worth a look.
