Looking around Hythe for areas that would benefit from some colour, we lighted upon the triangular space on the corner of Seabrook Road and Mill Road. This spot is very visible when approaching Hythe from the east and it was felt that as the entrance to ‘Hythe Town Centre’ its appearance could be enhanced.
Accordingly, with the approval of SDC, the existing shrubs were removed and a striking new planting scheme put in place. Several years on, the plants are reaching maturity as they continue to offer a much improved, colourful, welcome to the town.
