HLHG Visit to Archaeological Dig Site, East Cliff, Folkestone
In 1924, Samuel Winbolt, a Classics teacher, spent the Summer supervising the excavation of an extensive Roman Villa site on the East Cliff, Folkestone, which he had discovered the previous year.
